Paver Patio Contractor
Paver Patios In Queens & Long Island
A patio should feel like an extension of the house — level underfoot, dry after rain and sized for how you actually use it. StoneSky designs and installs paver patios across Queens, Long Island and Nassau County.
- Large-format, porcelain, brick and natural stone
- Multi-level patios, steps and seating walls
- Pitched and drained away from the house
- Coordinated walkways and side-yard access

Designed Around How You Use The Space
We start with furniture and traffic, not a number. Where does the grill go, how many people sit down at once, does the door swing out onto the patio, and how do you get from the patio to the driveway? Those answers determine the shape and size long before material selection.
Once the layout works, we choose material, pattern, border and color against the house so the finished patio reads as part of the property rather than an add-on slab.
Built To Stay Level And Dry
The base under a patio is shallower than a driveway's, but it still has to be excavated, compacted in lifts and pitched correctly. A patio that holds water is a patio that heaves.
- Excavation and sub-grade preparation
- Compacted stone base with correct pitch
- Screeded bedding layer for a flat surface
- Tight, consistent joints and clean edge cuts
- Edge restraint so the field cannot spread
- Polymeric joint sand where appropriate
Patio Materials
Large-format concrete pavers create clean, contemporary lines with fewer joints. Porcelain is dense, stain-resistant and holds color. Natural stone gives each patio unique variation. Brick suits traditional Queens and Long Island homes. We bring samples on site.
Patios As Part Of A Backyard Plan
If the patio is one piece of a larger project — grading, walls, walkways, lighting and lawn — see our complete backyard paver transformations. Doing it as one project avoids paying twice for excavation and access.
